Welcome to Høvisch Design
Høvisch Design is a creative universe created by love for craftsmanship, immersion and space to be human.
It all started during my maternity leave in 2016, when I found the crochet hook. I wanted to create durable, personalized toys for my own children. Something that could be used over and over again, washed, loved, and passed down.
Crocheting quickly became more than a practical project. It became my free space.
When I couldn't find recipes that were easy to understand and follow, especially as a beginner, I started designing my own. With a focus on clarity, coherence, and security in the process.
This is where the foundation for Høvisch Design was laid.
I create with my heart.
Høvisch Design was created from the desire to gather everything in one place. Patterns, yarn and inspiration, so it's easy to get started and nice to be in.
I believe that creativity thrives best when the framework is simple and well thought out.

My visual universe is soft and calm – often with pink shades. Not because it's "girly", but because it's me. And because I believe that you can create something personal and warm that is still for everyone.
Why I continue
Høvisch Design is not just about crocheting. It's about creating a space for creative souls, regardless of experience, age, and pace.
A place where handwork is not an achievement, but a break.

Having been on sick leave due to stress myself, I know how important it is that creativity is enjoyable, and not just another must-do task.
At Høvisch Design there is room for breaks, mistakes and slow processes. It is a community.
Who am I?
My name is Signe. Høvisch is my middle name and a big part of my identity. That's why it also became the name of my brand.
I live in Ballerup with my husband and our four children. My family and my network are my strength and my greatest inspiration.
I am a trained educator and will always have a strong eye for relationships, well-being and people. Today I am training to become an event coordinator, where I continue to work relationally, but with even more room for creativity and aesthetics.
I bring everything that I am into Høvisch Design.
