Crochet pattern — "A loving thought"

"A loving thought" is a year-round pattern.
Whether it's for your Valentine, a just-because gift, a get-well gift, a Pride gift, a birthday gift, a Christmas gift, or something entirely different.
These are designed to create joy and love all year round for any imaginable event or reason.

The pattern includes instructions for a heart, a rainbow, and a rose.

Generally for my patterns, the hook size can be changed to fit your own gauge.
When using a different hook size than specified, there may be size variations compared to my figures, but this is of little importance as long as you are consistent in your choices.

Materials:

• Crochet hook 3.0, or according to your own gauge
• Cotton yarn 8/4, 170 m per 50 g
• Needle
• Scissors

Figure
   White = 15 g each
   Stuffing = 6 g each
   Granules in nylon stocking = 6 g each

Heart
   Dark red = 2.5 g
   Stuffing = 1 g

Rainbow
   Purple = 0.3 g
   Blue = 0.2 g
   Green = 0.2 g
   Yellow = 0.3 g
   Orange = 0.3 g
   Red = 0.5 g

Rose
   Red = 1 g
   Green = 0.1 g
   Steel wire, 0.6 mm = 10 cm

Abbreviations:

st = stitch
mr = magic ring
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only
inv dec = invisible decrease (insert hook into FLO of next 2 sts, pull through and pull yarn through both loops)
*-* x ? = Repeat x number of times
(number) = total stitch count for the round
rnd = round
row = row
