Crochet pattern — "Kaya's Angel"

A pattern for the most adorable little angel — originally designed by my daughter Kaya.
The angel is the perfect size to hang on the Christmas tree.

Info:

Generally for my patterns, the hook size can be changed to fit your own gauge.
When using a different hook size than specified, there may be size variations compared to my figures, but this is of little importance as long as you are consistent in your choices.

Materials:

• Crochet hook 1.5, or according to your own gauge
• Cotton lace yarn, 280 m per 50 g
  White = 2.5 g
  Dark red = 4.5 g
  Nude = 3 g
  Beige = 4 g
  Black = 60 cm
• Brocat Lurex, 350 m per 50 g — Gold = 1 g
• Optional: small rattle/sound insert, 2 cm diameter
• Stuffing = 2.5 g
• Versa Color stamp ink + brush (alternative: rouge)
• Needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

st = stitch
mr = magic ring
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only
inv dec = invisible decrease (insert hook into FLO of next 2 sts, pull through and pull yarn through both loops)
inc = increase
*-* x ? = Repeat x number of times
(number) = total stitch count for the round
rnd = round
row = row
